Type: Sword, Inscription: "Mumei" (Omiya) Length: 2 shaku 2 sun 9 bu, Curvature: 4 bu, Base width: 30mm, Base weight: 6.8mm, Tip width: 21.5mm, Tip weight: 4.8mm, Blade weight: 616g (all approximate values) Certified by Tokyo Board of Education and Japan Art Sword Preservation Association. Includes preservation sword accessories, special sword case, white scabbard bag, and small white river bag. This work closely resembles a masterpiece by Osafune Kageaki, with clear reflections visible from different angles, suggesting possible Ichimonji Yoshioka influence. The blade finish is excellent, appearing masterpiece-quality. While Omiya's ultimate grade is sufficiently good, the style is completely different, which may affect grading if higher grade designation is sought.
